Transforming Websites, One Line of Code at a Time
Welcome to Code for Community, an initiative aimed at transforming the landscape of nearby food pantries through innovative website redesigns, makeovers, and overhauls. Code for Community is a project that resulted from my love of computer science combined with the desire to uplift communities in need. As we navigated through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I couldn’t help but notice the outdated state of local food pantry websites, hindering access to crucial information for those who need it most and those who would want to contribute. This realization sparked a vision: a platform that bridges the gap between food pantries and community members, ensuring seamless access to essential resources. This project serves as a testament to the profound impact of technology and community involvement in driving positive social change.

My goal is to contribute to the ongoing battle against hunger and food insecurity. My journey towards the creation of Code for Community began with a firm belief in the transformative power of technology and grassroots engagement. Let's build a Website
Have a question or want to work together ?
Hi Neha,
I can't tell you how happy I am with the website and most importantly how impressed I am with you!
Your work ethic and dedication is impeccable and your drive is impressive.
Your ability to identify an issue, find a solution to the challenge and execute efficiently is remarkable.
You made the process of a website overhaul easy on my end.
I highly recommend you reach out to Quinn asking for an internship, and I will email directly to give him the heads up and give you a recommendation.
Natick Service Council
The Dedham Food Pantry’s mission is to end hunger in Dedham. We distribute more than 28,000 bags of food annually. Neha reached out to us a while ago and offered to build us a new website. Our site was showing its age so we jumped at the opportunity. You can see the new site at https://mydfp.org, we think it’s great! It’s clear and modern and works well on phones, tablets, and computers. This project required Neha to demonstrate many skills including user experience design, web site construction, technical infrastructure development, and project management. Neha is a pleasure to work with. She’s diligent and gets things done without being pushy. She’s self-motivated so you don’t need to worry about checking up on her. We’re grateful for her time and passion and expertise!
